Process

Our process is comprehensive so that we can find the best candidate for your search. We know how critical it is to hire the right person and we will do the research and the interviews to bring the right candidate pool to you. Bay Colony Search will partner with you to determine what you need and will follow the process below.

Initial Consultation

We meet in person with you and your team to understand your organization, your employees, your culture, your goals, and what makes your company unique.

Search Strategy

Together we develop a job description and determine what candidates must have in order to be considered for the position as well as what you would ideally like them to have. During this time we will determine target companies, industry trade groups, geographic locations, compensation and other factors to craft a comprehensive plan as to how we will attract and recruit desirable candidates.

Candidate Sourcing

Utilizing the search strategy that we developed with you we will begin to reach out to candidates that fit your criteria. Candidates will come from a variety of sources including referrals, online databases, our proprietary database, and other methods that have proven to be successful.

Candidate Interviews and Assessment

Through an extensive and assessment process we interview candidates to gain a thorough understanding of their employment history as well as their motivations, strengths, weaknesses, personality, horsepower, management style, and other essential traits. We know that it's necessary to find a candidate that not only has the technical skills, but also has the soft skills to fit in with your organization.

Presentation of Qualified Candidates and Client Interviews

Candidates deemed to meet your qualifications will be presented to you with a resume, an extensive write up speaking to their experience and personality traits, and their motivations. After you conduct your interviews we will provide feedback to both parties and move appropriate candidates forward in the interview process, or work with you to refine the search if necessary. 

Offer Negotiation and Onboarding

Once you identify the candidate you would like to hire we work with you to shape the compensation package. We will contact the candidate to present your offer, and upon acceptance, assist the candidate as they give their notice. Then we will keep in touch with them through the notice period as well as once they are onboarded.
